Using Brands in tabx
In Tabx, a Brand is a preconfigured set or colours and images that can be applied to a Project to customise that Project to your clients branding. A Brand can also be used to set the default colour series for charts so that those colours don’t have to be defined on a chart-by-chart basis.
Adding Brands to Tabx
To add a Brand to Tabx, you must be logged in as either the License Administrator, or as a License Editor.
- Browse to the Account (Projects for editors) page.
- Browse to the Brands tab.
- Click Create Brand.
- On the Create Brand page, fill in the fields:
- Brand Name – This will be used to select the Brand from within a Project.
- Page Background Colour – Choose a colour that will be in the background of the Interrogate, Dashboard and Analysis tools when viewing that project.
- Page Sidebar Colour – Choose the colour of the Sidebar on the Interrogate, Dashboard and Analysis tools when viewing that project.
- Image 1 and 2 – You can upload two images within a brand, no larger than 200 X 200 pixels in size. These are usually company or branding logos.
- Use in Background? – This will display the uploaded image in the background of the Interrogate tool.
- Use in Sidebar? – This will display the uploaded image at the top of the sidebar menu on the Interrogate, Dashboard and Analysis tools when viewing that project.
- Default Colour Scheme – Choose the default sequence of colours that will be applied to any newly created charts. Note: This will not apply these colours to any charts that exist before this Brand is applied to the Project.
- Click Add Brand to save this Brand into your license.
Editing a Brand
To edit a Brand that exists in your License:
- Browse to the Account (Projects for editors) page.
- Browse to the Brands tab.
- Click the Edit Brand button for the Brand you wish to make changes in.
- On the Edit Brand page change any of the fields to their new values.
- Click Save Brand to save this Brand into your license.
